Enduromates is a GPS trail-riding and lap-timing app for offroad riders. This page explains what information the app and this website collect, why, and how it’s used.

Information we collect

• Account information: email address, username, display name, and an optional profile photo.
• Location data: GPS coordinates while you record a ride or race session, including while the app is backgrounded, so your route, lap times, and speed can be tracked and shown back to you. Location is not recorded outside of an active ride/session, except that if you turn on nearby-rider sharing, your approximate position is shared with the riders you’ve chosen while sharing is on.
• Ride and session data: recorded routes, lap times, speeds, and any photos you attach to a ride.
• Social data: friends/follows, group rides you organise or join, community posts, and direct messages between riders.
• Payment information: if you subscribe, payments are handled directly by Stripe. Enduromates does not receive or store your card details.
• Push notification tokens: used to notify you about things like group ride invites.
• Crash and error reports: if the app crashes or hits an error, a report with device and app details is sent to our error-monitoring provider (Sentry) so we can fix it. For a small sample of sessions this includes a screen recording of the app, with text and images masked.
• Merch waitlist: if you join the merch waitlist on this website, we store your email address.

How we use this information

Your data is used solely to provide Enduromates’ features: recording and replaying your rides, lap timing, leaderboards, and connecting you with other riders you choose to follow or ride with. Merch waitlist emails are used only to tell you when the merch shop opens. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Third-party services

Enduromates uses Supabase for account and data storage, Stripe for payment processing, Sentry for crash reporting, mapping providers to render trail maps, and YouTube to show videos on this website. Each handles data under their own privacy policies.

Data deletion

To request deletion of your account and associated data, or removal from the merch waitlist, contact us at the email below.
