Installing the Android app

Follow the steps on the download page. Android asks once for permission to install apps from your browser; allow it, then open the downloaded file. After that, the app lets you know when an update is ready.

GPS accuracy and recording with the screen off

For reliable tracking, especially with the phone in your pocket or the screen off:

• Allow location access all the time when the app asks.
• Set the app’s battery usage to Unrestricted (Settings → Apps → Enduromates → Battery). The app prompts you for this before your first ride.
• Give the GPS a few seconds in the open before you start, so it can get a good fix.

Offline maps

Download the map area before you head out, from Offline Maps in the More tab. Recording and navigation keep working without signal.

Account and password

Use “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen to reset it by email. If you still can’t get in, email enduromatesbrett@gmail.com from the address on your account.

Deleting your account and data

Email enduromatesbrett@gmail.com from the address on your account and ask for deletion. We’ll remove your account and associated data. See the privacy policy.
